Job Description
We invite you to join the Advanced Controls team as an intern, where you will contribute to the development of a lightweight and scalable historian system for Linux. This system is designed for the storage and analysis of time-series data collected from field devices. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing a historian service that ingests high-frequency data via MQTT and stores it in TimescaleDB. Additionally, you will test the service, create presentations to convey your progress, and engage in talent events.
Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, with skills in Java or Python and familiarity with relational databases. Strong organizational and communication abilities are crucial for this role.
