Job Description
Somaiya Vidyavihar University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Microbial Ecology. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Agriculture, or a related field with a focus on soil ecology, microbial diversity, and metagenomics.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a related discipline.
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in NGS data analysis, sequence alignment, phylogenetic tree construction, and visualization tools.
- Strong background in bioinformatics and statistical analysis of ecological data.
- Demonstrated excellence in research and teaching with scholarly publications.
